Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team as a Visitor Centre Assistant. As a key member of our Brand Home team, you will have the unique opportunity to promote our premium whisky to visitors and industry colleagues from all over the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver world-class premium brand experiences that enhance our brand image and drive business value.
- Lead distillery tours and on/offsite tastings, showcasing our whisky and sharing its history and heritage.
- Work across all areas of the visitor centre, including hosting groups, working in the retail shop, and tasting bar.
- Host all levels of tours of the distillery, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high standards are met.
- Assist with stock takes, counts, daily banking, and reconciliation.
- Perform administrative duties, including responding to customer inquiries, processing sales orders, and organizing the daily diary.
- Work closely with the Visitor Centre Manager to define annual goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the distillery operations team to ensure company operational procedures and H&S practices are adhered to.
- Maintain visitor centre facilities to a high standard of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Experience in presenting to diverse audiences.
- Strong knowledge of Suntory Global Spirits brands and company values.
- Current driving license.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, and/or tourism is desirable.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Good listening and questioning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong drive and desire to succeed, with high levels of energy, focus, and ambition.
- Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
