Sterile Services DispatcherWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Sterile Services Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our sterile services department, providing essential support to our operating theatres, clinical departments, and paramedical teams.
Responsibilities:- Decontamination Expertise: Provide a high-quality decontamination service for surgical instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols and industry standards.
- Customer Support: Assist with answering calls from customers, preparing tray lists, and resolving inquiries related to sterile services.
- Supply Management: Contribute to the efficient ordering, storage, and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
- Dispatch Coordination: Accurately dispatch instruments and equipment to various locations within our healthcare facilities, ensuring timely delivery and optimal workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the sterile services department and other clinical teams to maintain a seamless and efficient service.
- GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications.
- Previous experience in call handling and administration, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of sterile services procedures and best practices.
