Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Services Specialist to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our sterile services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of decontamination, sterilization, and equipment management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a first-class decontamination and sterilization service to our operating departments and clinical teams, adhering to HTM 01-01 guidelines.
  • Assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilization, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment, endoscopes, and sundry items.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, including clinical teams, management, and external partners.
  • Promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained in working areas and that processes are followed as directed by senior staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sterile services or related role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience of working within a sterile services unit is highly desirable.
