About the Role

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our sterile services department, you will be responsible for providing a first-class decontamination and sterile service to our operating department, clinical departments, and relevant paramedical departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a high-quality decontamination and sterile service to our customers, in accordance with HTM 01-01.
  • To assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment, Endoscopes, and sundry items.
  • To maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • To promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • To ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained in working areas, and that processes are followed as directed by senior staff and in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sterile services environment is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Positive 'can do' attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience of working within a sterile services unit is highly desirable.
