About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver Year-End Accounts: You will be responsible for delivering year-end accounts to residents in a timely fashion, ensuring that all financial statements and records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Smooth Accounting Process: You will carry out the necessary transactions to ensure a smooth accounting process for accounts, resolving any issues that may arise and providing a quality service to our customers.
- Productivity Metrics: You will be expected to deliver to department productivity metrics and contribute to the team and organisational goals, ensuring that our financial processes are efficient and effective.
- Audit Process: You will liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers and our clients.
- Proactive Approach: You will adopt a proactive approach at all times to audit and accounts, liaising with analysts/managers on areas of concern and taking full responsibility for your own development.
About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Service Charge Accountant who is currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and has a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment. You will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, with the ability to utilise your accounting knowledge to deliver a high-quality service to our customers.
