Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver Year-End Accounts: You will be responsible for delivering year-end accounts to residents in a timely fashion, ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and up-to-date.
- Smooth Accounting Process: You will carry out the necessary transactions to ensure a smooth accounting process for accounts, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Quality Service: You will provide a quality service to customers and clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Productivity Metrics: You will deliver to department productivity metrics and contribute to the team and organisational goals.
- Audit Process: You will liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers and clients.
- Proactive Approach: You will adopt a proactive approach at all times to audit and accounts, liaising with analysts/ managers on areas of concern.
We are looking for a candidate who is currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and has a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment. You will have strong communication skills and be able to utilise your accounting knowledge and high attention to detail to provide a smooth accounting process for your team.
