Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort, the UK's leading residential property service provider. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver Year-End Accounts: Provide timely and accurate year-end accounts to residents, ensuring a smooth accounting process.
- Transaction Management: Carry out necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process for accounts.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues on accounts and provide a quality service to customers and clients.
- Productivity Metrics: Deliver to department productivity metrics and contribute to team and organisational goals.
- Audit Liaison: Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers and clients.
- Proactive Approach: Adopt a proactive approach to audit and accounts, liaising with analysts and managers on areas of concern.
We are looking for a candidate who is currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and has a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment. You will have strong communication skills and be able to utilise your accounting knowledge and attention to detail to provide a high-quality service.
