Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort, the UK's leading residential property service provider. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver Year-End Accounts: Ensure timely delivery of year-end accounts to residents, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Smooth Accounting Process: Carry out necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Quality Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction among our customers and clients.
- Productivity Metrics: Contribute to departmental productivity metrics, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our team.
- Audit Process: Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process, ensuring the best possible outcome for our customers and clients.
- Proactive Approach: Adopt a proactive approach to audit and accounts, identifying areas of concern and collaborating with analysts and managers to address them.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment. You should be currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA) and possess strong communication skills.
As a Service Charge Accountant at FirstPort, you will have the opportunity to utilize your accounting knowledge and attention to detail to deliver exceptional results. You will work collaboratively with our team to drive productivity and quality, ensuring a smooth accounting process for our customers.
