Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort, the UK's leading residential property service provider. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver Year-End Accounts: Ensure timely delivery of year-end accounts to residents, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Smooth Accounting Process: Carry out necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process for accounts, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Quality Service: Provide a high-quality service to customers and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Productivity Metrics: Contribute to department productivity metrics, driving efficiency and effectiveness in the team.
- Audit Process: Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process, providing the best possible outcome for our customers and clients.
- Proactive Approach: Adopt a proactive approach to audit and accounts, identifying areas of concern and working with analysts and managers to address them.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong accounting background, currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA). You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment and be looking for the next step in your career.
You will be a strong communicator, able to utilise your accounting knowledge and high attention to detail to deliver exceptional results. Your ideal role is one where you can utilise your skills and experience to make a real impact.
