About Our Organization

UHS has been rated 'Good' by the CQC and was recognized in the latest national NHS Staff Survey as one of the top 10 acute trusts for staff engagement and for staff recommending the hospital as a workplace or care provider.

Non-clinical roles may involve a combination of on-site and remote work. Specific details and flexible working options can be discussed during the interview process. UHS employees enjoy access to a variety of NHS discounts, a minimum of 35 days of paid leave (pro rata), and a comprehensive pension scheme.

Southampton is a desirable location for living and working, situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct train services. The New Forest National Park and the beaches of the Jurassic coast are also nearby, offering a cost of living approximately 20% lower than London, along with numerous schools rated outstanding by Ofsted.
