About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Arora Management Services Ltd. As a key member of our Group Finance Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of our main head office companies, managing intercompany recharges, and preparing monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately maintain the financial records of our main head office companies, including managing intercompany recharges and cash flow forecasting.
  • Management Accounting: Prepare monthly management accounts in line with our month end close timetable, including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing narrative showing understanding of business transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and understand all expenses to ensure correct allocation to cost codes and legal entities, and actively manage the monthly intercompany recharge process for standard recharges and ad hoc costs.
  • Cash Flow Management: Actively manage the cash flow needs of our entities and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare VAT returns and other relevant tax submissions where necessary, and assist with the annual statutory audit process.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, including the intercompany recharge budgets, and take on ad hoc accounting tasks as required by the business.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word, and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics finance package is advantageous.
  • Experience: Experience in management accounting, ideally in a head office environment, and experience of central cost recharges and intercompany accounting is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: Organized and methodical with strong time management and planning skills, strong communication skills both in writing and orally, and proactive with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
