The Whitby Scheme consists of four residential care homes specializing in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with their daily lives, empowering them to live as independently as possible.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide personalized care and support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mealtimes.
- Encourage and facilitate social interaction and participation in recreational activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the well-being of residents.
- Document resident care and progress accurately and effectively.
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to providing high-quality care.
- Enthusiastic about supporting individuals with diverse needs.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and support to all our employees.
