Priory Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Priory Support Worker to join our team at Aire House, a residential service in Harrogate. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain individual support plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met.
  • Support individuals to maintain a home of their own, and to lead rich and fulfilled lives as valued and contributing members of their community.
  • Comply with all regulations and policies, attending supervisions, team meetings, and training sessions as required.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and individuals supported, ensuring good communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Commitment to working in a person-centred way, promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Ability to relate to people, be a good listener, and communicator.
  • Initiative and motivation to work alone, as well as part of an established team.
  • Good basic level of education desired.
