Job Title: PMO Lead – Reporting & Demand Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Lead to join our team at British Airways. As a key member of our IT Portfolio and Vendor Management Office, you will be responsible for supporting the establishment and embedding of key Portfolio Management capabilities for the IT function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure IT has full visibility of all activities and resources across our portfolio, driving effective planning processes to ensure business value, mitigate risk, and achieve transformation goals.
  • Develop and implement reporting capabilities, exploring, recommending, and establishing tools and processes to support the IT portfolio and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Monitor and report on supply versus demand for all IT resources, driving and supporting effective resource planning and prioritization.
  • Develop and implement a PMO tooling strategy, producing wider IT Portfolio reporting as part of the Portfolio and Vendor Management Office.
  • Work with IT resource managers to provide data to support informed capacity planning, recruitment strategies, and approaches.
  • Develop and drive the PMO data and tooling strategy to ensure reporting production is efficient and supports informed decisions.
  • Report on demand versus supply for the portfolio, identifying constraints, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop reporting and KPIs for IT leadership, working across teams to ensure data access, availability, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a PMO role.
  • Experience running, supporting, and establishing demand and resource management processes.
  • Experience producing PMO reporting and feeding into Portfolio reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience of using project, programme, and portfolio management tools.
  • Proven track record of reporting and planning across different project management methodologies.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrable data analysis skills.
  • Established data flows and datasets for reporting.
