Job Title: EMEA Economist and Portfolio Strategist

Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends and sovereign credit markets to inform investment decisions and develop strategic portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of regional economic dynamics, including inflation, growth, and balance of payments information.
  • Analyze and interpret economic data to identify investment opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to develop and implement investment strategies.
  • Conduct on-the-ground research and market analysis to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide expert advice and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in regional economics or a related field.
  • Masters or PhD in Economics or Finance, with a strong background in quantitative analysis.
  • Proven track record of success in sovereign credit analysis and portfolio management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex economic concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
