Senior Product & Portfolio Marketing Manager

The Senior Product & Portfolio Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of portfolio marketing plans within the Economist Intelligence Business Unit at The Economist Group. This strategic position requires a deep understanding of campaign strategies and their alignment with the overall marketing and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for the product offering, ensuring they are results-focused, segment-led, and aligned with customer insights.
  • Set and monitor campaign goals, generate customer and competitor insights, and develop customer-journey-based campaign strategies.
  • Lead the execution of the marketing plan against pre-agreed KPIs and aggregate and analyze customer behavioral data from multiple sources.
  • Use data to create actionable campaign strategies and value messaging, track campaign performance, and make proactive decisions for campaign enhancement.
  • Ensure consistent positioning and persona messaging across all campaigns, collateral, and communications.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for SaaS/B2B subscription-based business models, leveraging expertise in customer and market research.

This role requires a strong background in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, with expertise in customer and market research, and the ability to translate insights into actionable campaign strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results, generating demand in new markets/segments, and developing marketing strategy and propositions for SaaS/B2B subscription-based business models.
