About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our client's small team in their lovely offices near Stansted. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing supply chain strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and implement supplier benchmarking to ensure best value deals.
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Create and implement project procurement strategies and schedules to meet and exceed savings targets.
  • Business Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to drive business growth.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the supply chain.
  • Contract Management: Manage all procurement and contracting activities, including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and contract preparation.
  • Project Coordination: Ensure materials are delivered to site on time and in line with the project schedule.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with site managers, estimating teams, contracts managers, and directors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Procurement Expertise: Provide expertise, advice, and guidance on procurement matters to support business growth.
