We are seeking a highly strategic Regulatory Policy Manager to join our client's team on a temporary basis for 9 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in developing regulatory price control arrangements that will drive the revenues and service levels of our client's core regulated network businesses into the next decade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bring insightful and strategic thought leadership to the business, influencing key stakeholders and translating regulatory strategy into actionable plans.
  • Act as a key interface between external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and our client's regulated businesses.
  • Lead both direct reports and virtual teams, ensuring the successful delivery of key pieces of work that contribute to a well-justified business plan submission.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in managing virtual teams and the ability to influence executive leaders and senior external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to establish effective partnerships across the business and foster a strong team culture.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and tactical implementation skills, with a high level of motivation, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • A broad knowledge of the utilities industry, including the commercial value drivers and regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of the technical challenges associated with operating and maintaining electricity transmission networks.
