Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, commissioning, and execution of Transport Focus's policy initiatives.
  • Develop and publish policy documents and reports that reflect our findings.
  • Draft policy positions on emerging transport issues, encompassing both national and regional concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify research opportunities and areas for policy enhancement.
  • Provide expert guidance on transport policies, ensuring they align with current evidence and analysis.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance understanding of our policy positions and refine our messaging on complex topics.
  • Oversee projects and programs across various transport modes and themes.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet objectives outlined in the Business Plan while remaining responsive to external developments.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations, particularly in collaboration with Communications and Public Affairs teams.
  • Represent Transport Focus at forums, panels, and events.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transport policy into broader initiatives.
