Regional Human Capital Director

Oliver Wyman is a global leader in management consulting, with a presence in over 70 cities across 30 countries. Our team of experts combines deep industry knowledge with specialized expertise in strategy, operations, risk management, and organization transformation.

We are seeking a Regional Human Capital Director to support our UK & Ireland region. This is a 15-month maternity-cover contract, starting in October/November 2024.

The successful candidate will have oversight and management of a team delivering proactive and business-focused HR advice and services for the UK and Ireland (circa 750 employees). They will work closely with local Office and Market Leaders, as well as other colleagues, to deliver on the broad responsibilities of the HC team.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading and managing our UK & Ireland HR function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services and support to the organization.
  • Developing and implementing HC strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives and promote a positive work culture.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
