Lead Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing significant construction initiatives, procuring necessary materials, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, and delivering exceptional client service. You will engage in diverse projects across the UK, each presenting its own set of challenges.

Your primary responsibility will be to report to the Contracts Manager while supervising the construction of a project, ensuring that objectives are achieved concerning health and safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and budget management. Your key duties will encompass:

  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and quality benchmarks on site.
  • Coordinating workforce and resources to effectively implement the construction schedule and manage trades.
  • Overseeing material inventory to align with the project timeline efficiently.
  • Monitoring the quality of all units and conducting thorough inspections.
  • Managing production costs and authorizing payments.
  • Collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to fulfill the construction timeline.
  • Upholding a high standard of site presentation and client relations.

To excel in this position, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Extensive experience in managing construction projects and navigating complex sites.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, health and safety standards, and client service.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or substantial experience in construction trades.
