Lead Construction Supervisor - London

LJB Recruit is collaborating with a prestigious contractor recognized for its commitment to excellence in delivering top-tier services. We are seeking a skilled and committed Lead Construction Supervisor to oversee high-end interior projects in London. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all on-site operations, liaising with project teams, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  1. Manage all on-site operations to guarantee that tasks are completed on schedule, within financial constraints, and to the highest quality benchmarks.
  2. Collaborate closely with directors, senior management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective coordination and teamwork.
  3. Identify and address any challenges or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold superior workmanship and compliance with project specifications, health, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
  5. Encourage and enforce strict compliance with safety protocols and practices.
  6. Maintain precise and updated documentation of all site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
  7. Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with project developments and results.
  8. Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management.
  9. Demonstrate extensive experience in managing construction sites, particularly in high-value interior fit-out projects.
  10. Experience in high-end commercial and luxury residential fit-out projects is a plus.
  11. Hold a CSCS black card, with SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications being ideal.
  12. Exhibit a robust understanding of construction processes, techniques, and industry standards.
  13. Possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  14. Be proficient in construction management software and tools.
