Job Summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a dedicated Care and Support Worker to join our team in a very sheltered housing facility. As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and support services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is required within 6 months of employment.
  • Ability to work night and weekend shifts, with a minimum of two shifts per week.
  • Flexibility to work a rota system, with shifts given a month in advance.
  • Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required for certain candidates.
