About the Role
Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team in a very sheltered housing facility. As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to service users, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- SSSC registration within 6 months of employment.
- Disclosure Scotland Check and Overseas Criminal Record Check (if applicable).
- Minimum of two references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.
Working Arrangements
This is a 28-hour post, working a mix of early and late shifts over 4 days per week. The rota is a set rolling rota, with early shifts and late shifts.
