Your primary focus will be to become a category expert, enhancing sales, ensuring product availability, educating retail staff, and delivering exceptional in-store execution.

In return for your commitment as our Category Sales Development Manager, we offer a competitive salary of £27,300 p.a. + Up to 15% Bonus + Company Car & Fuel Card

Key Responsibilities as Category Sales Development Manager - Gillette:

Implementing the male grooming category sales strategy effectively within your assigned stores. Enhancing product availability through a consultative approach, collaborating with in-store teams to ensure compliance with back-room processes, product protection, and ease of implementation for store staff, utilizing category EPOS sales data to address systemic challenges. Improving inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock audits, collaborating with store management, and obtaining permissions to adjust in-store systems to reflect actual stock levels while identifying sources of discrepancies. Ensuring the grooming fixture adheres to agreed plans, including correcting shelf edge labels and reconfiguring fixtures for optimal product facing and capacity. Serving as the primary contact for Gillette within your stores, fostering strong working relationships. Conducting business reviews with store managers to assess performance, establish focus areas, and drive sales growth at both store and regional levels. Utilizing the Field View sales tool app to enhance business sales and growth within your designated accounts, analyzing sales performance to identify key opportunities and implementing action plans. Where applicable, leveraging data to raise awareness of category trends and insights to boost category performance. Providing comprehensive training to increase store staff knowledge of the category, new product developments, and initiatives, thereby enhancing product and category understanding.

Qualifications Required for Category Sales Development Manager - Gillette:

Outstanding organizational and communication skills to help achieve objectives and maximize in-store opportunities. Ability to cultivate excellent relationships with store contacts. Skills in negotiation and category development to drive sales growth. Strong understanding of the grocery and high-street retail sectors, along with category management expertise. Self-motivated and results-driven approach.
