Sales Account Manager

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our largest retail customer, Morrisons, across all meat species. This is a high-paced environment where you will gain exposure to the retail meat category and our extensive manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a high-value sales area, influencing a significant portion of the supermarket business.
- Gain insights into the retail meat category, manufacturing processes, and the broader supply chain.
- Act as a key link between production, operations, NPD, planning, supply chain, and sales teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the retail account.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.
- Forecast sales and manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure targets are met.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver budgets.
- Identify growth opportunities within the account, including potential for new products or existing product development.
- Manage the account's budget, including trade spend and promotional funding.
- Monitor the financial health of the account, ensuring profitability and managing costs effectively.
