As the Human Resources Lead at Anderson Knight, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the comprehensive range of HR functions within the organization, operating independently.
Your responsibilities will encompass recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development, ensuring that the HR department aligns with the strategic goals of the company and promotes a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all HR activities, ensuring adherence to employment legislation and organizational policies.
- Spearhead recruitment initiatives, from crafting job descriptions and advertisements to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding processes.
- Offer expert counsel and support to both management and staff on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance enhancement, and professional development.
- Formulate and execute HR strategies that are in sync with business objectives, including programs aimed at boosting employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth.
- Lead the HR team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional advancement.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to identify patterns and inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the efficient management of HR systems and documentation, upholding confidentiality and data protection standards.
About You:
To excel in this position, you will require:
- A strategic approach with the capability to implement HR initiatives that bolster business goals.
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, preferably with managerial experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and cultivate relationships at all organizational levels.
- Experience in navigating complex employee relations challenges and driving performance improvement initiatives.
- A CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) or equivalent experience is highly advantageous.
