Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all HR activities, ensuring adherence to employment legislation and organizational policies.
  • Spearhead recruitment initiatives, from crafting job descriptions and advertisements to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding processes.
  • Offer expert counsel and support to both management and staff on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance enhancement, and professional development.
  • Formulate and execute HR strategies that are in sync with business objectives, including programs aimed at boosting employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth.
  • Lead the HR team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional advancement.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to identify patterns and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure the efficient management of HR systems and documentation, upholding confidentiality and data protection standards.

About You:

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A strategic approach with the capability to implement HR initiatives that bolster business goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, preferably with managerial experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and cultivate relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in navigating complex employee relations challenges and driving performance improvement initiatives.
  • A CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) or equivalent experience is highly advantageous.
