Role Overview

Visa is on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to join the Visa Direct Backoffice product team within the broader Commercial Money Movement Services division. This position is based in our London Paddington office and reports directly to the Director of Product Management, Backoffice. This team manages a diverse range of services and platforms related to treasury, foreign exchange, compliance, payment operations, and reconciliation.

The role necessitates strong collaboration with stakeholders from various business units (Treasury, Legal Compliance, Payment Operations, Customer Service) both within CMS/MMS and beyond. Ideal candidates will possess extensive product management experience, familiarity with agile software development life cycle (SDLC), cross-functional team leadership, and exceptional skills in communication, business analysis, problem-solving, coordination, process excellence, and change management. A customer-centric approach is essential, along with experience in close collaboration with other product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to comprehend their needs and those of their clients.
  • Assess stakeholder feedback and collaborate with other Product Managers to address concerns and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
  • Define the product roadmap on a quarterly basis and provide updates on progress.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for product (or network strategy) and the associated roadmap based on business needs, market demand, and performance through analysis of new product features.
  • Participate in feature prioritization: Communicate the vision to the teams, highlight upcoming milestones, and approve prioritized quarterly objectives.
  • Oversee a team of product owners, coordinate on dependency items, and ensure that the prioritization of features and stories aligns with the vision and objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops for stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with business and technology experts to define scope, create estimates, develop budgets, and produce necessary documentation.
  • Deliver timely and accurate status updates to stakeholders, hosting regular cross-organizational management briefings.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and impacts.
  • Embrace agile methodologies with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid role. Employees in hybrid positions are expected to alternate between remote work and office attendance, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional background.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience OR PhD with 3+ years of experience in customer-facing products.

• Proficiency in strategy development, global product development, end-to-end product lifecycle management, stakeholder relationship management, data analysis and validation, product testing, and formulating go-to-market and pricing strategies.

• Exceptional planning, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and issue resolution skills.
