About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead our agricultural service team to the next level. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of our service department, ensuring efficient scheduling, work processing, and timely service delivery.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service, addressing customer debt and service satisfaction issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of technicians, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
  • Warranty Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to warranty policies and procedures.
  • Out-of-Hours Coverage: Manage out-of-hours and holiday service coverage.
  • Talent Development: Recruit and develop technicians, maintaining strong relationships with local agricultural colleges.
  • Health and Safety: Actively participate in the Health and Safety committee and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Branch Representation: Represent the branch professionally, ensuring a positive and motivated atmosphere.
Ideal Candidate
  • Service Management or Workshop Foreman experience.
  • Agricultural/farming industry knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a successful track record of winning the respect of both your colleagues, manufacturers, and customers.
