About the Company:
Interaction Technical is collaborating with a prominent manufacturer in the Agricultural Engineering sector located in the Dorset area to enhance their engineering workforce.
In response to business expansion, our client is seeking an electromechanical service technician to operate in and around the Dorchester area, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various Agricultural machinery.
Benefits Package:
- Competitive salary ranging from £30,000-£40,000 based on experience, with an OTE of £45,000-£50,000+
- 32 days of annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with tenure

Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely diagnosing faults, servicing, and executing emergency repairs on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, balers, etc.)
- Traveling to client locations to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest standards.
- Conducting diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues on agricultural and horticultural equipment
- Ability to work independently at customer sites while collaborating with colleagues to ensure accurate documentation and optimal solutions.
- Engaging with engines, batteries, and hydraulics, along with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Communicating with clients to identify faults and provide effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical skills (essential)
- Background in the Agricultural industry (essential)
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault diagnosis, repair, and servicing (advantageous)
- Familiarity with engines and batteries (advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Valid UK Driver's License
