Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Secretary to join our team at Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our conveyancing team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our fee earners and ensuring the smooth flow of documents and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to fee earners, including typing legal documents, scanning and emailing correspondence, and filing documents.
  • Manage the flow of documents and correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with file management, including opening and closing files and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to telephone calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks, including photocopying, preparing trial bundles, and managing the fee earners' diaries.

Requirements

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, with basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong telephone skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and able to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good grammar and spelling skills, with a strong grasp of the English language.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good standard of general education, with a strong focus on English and numeracy.
  • Word processing skills and/or qualification.
  • Training as a legal secretary or relevant qualification.
