Job Overview

Glasgow Life is seeking a Brand Marketing Specialist to contribute to our dynamic Marketing and Communications division on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

As a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will become an integral part of our esteemed Marketing and Communications team.

Your role will involve collaborating with a dedicated group that supports Glasgow Life in delivering exceptional services across various sectors, including museums, arts, music, sports, and community engagement.

About Our Corporate Structure In this position, you will be part of Corporate Services, which encompasses Marketing and Communications, Business Support, Infrastructure, and Finance. Other departments, such as HR, Retail, Procurement, and Development, also play vital roles in ensuring the smooth operation of Glasgow Life as a leading charity. These teams are responsible for crafting compelling narratives about our initiatives and providing insights that inform strategic decisions.

They also manage the operation of numerous venues throughout the city, oversee substantial financial accounts, support our workforce, and generate revenue through retail operations.

Role Responsibilities As a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will facilitate the implementation of the Glasgow Life brand identity across various venues, including Arts and Music facilities, Libraries, Museums, and Sports venues.

Working closely with our Infrastructure Support team, you will serve as an ambassador for our brand's visual identity throughout the organization.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation of internal and external signage, refreshing messaging across print and digital platforms, and executing comprehensive internal and external brand campaigns.

Candidate Requirements To be considered for the Brand Marketing Specialist position, you should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent academic qualifications or professional experience in a marketing communications capacity.
  • Proven expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing fully integrated, multi-channel marketing and communications initiatives.
  • The ability to navigate a complex organizational structure, advocating for our brand guidelines at all levels and assisting colleagues in their application.
  • A keen eye for detail and design, with experience in managing the physical execution of design projects.
