Job Overview

Glasgow Life is seeking a Brand Marketing Specialist to engage with our dynamic Marketing and Communications division on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

As a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will become an integral part of our high-demand Marketing and Communications team.

Your role will involve collaborating with a dedicated group that supports Glasgow Life in delivering exceptional services across various sectors, including museums, arts, music, sports, world-class events, festivals, libraries, and community facilities.

About Our Corporate Services In your capacity as a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will be aligned with our Corporate Services. This encompasses Marketing and Communications, Business Support, Infrastructure, and Finance, along with HR, Retail, Procurement, and Development. These teams perform a multitude of functions to ensure Glasgow Life operates efficiently as a premier charity. From crafting compelling narratives about our initiatives to providing insights that shape our strategies,

they also manage the operations of numerous venues throughout the city, oversee substantial financial accounts, support our workforce, and generate revenue for the charity through our retail outlets.

The Role As a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in promoting the Glasgow Life brand identity across our extensive estate, which includes Arts and Music venues, Libraries, Museums, and Sports facilities.

Working closely with our Infrastructure Support team, you will serve as an ambassador for our brand's visual identity throughout the organization.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of internal and external signage across venues, refreshing messaging on both print and digital platforms, and executing a comprehensive internal and external brand campaign.

Candidate Profile If you are interested in the Brand Marketing Specialist position, you should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent academic qualification or professional experience in a marketing communications role.
  • Proven expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing fully integrated, multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns.
  • The ability to navigate a complex organizational structure. This role requires the capacity to advocate for our brand guidelines at all levels, fostering support and collaboration among colleagues.
  • A keen eye for detail and design, along with experience in managing the physical execution of design projects.
