Job Title: Fitness Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Operations Manager to join our team at Everlast Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

* Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness, demonstrating our elevated ways of working at all times
* Drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary sales to drive profitability
* Effectively manage controllable costs like stock orders and cleaning supplies to eliminate wastage and overspend
* Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role designed to enhance every visit
* Ensure central processes like STRIVE and MOVE are followed and delivered to the highest level consistently
* Drive collective buy-in to national focuses and incentives like #WORKOUTWEDNESDAY and #WeCommunicate
* Lead the recruiting, monitoring, training, and onboarding of new team members within your gym
* Ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard using our in-house systems
* Willing and able to deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis
* Reporting facilities and maintenance-related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines
* Manage club rotas based on budgets, ensuring fully trained team members are always onsite
* Be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions
* Able to effectively manage all policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, inclusive of pool plant operations

Requirements:

* Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
* Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable)
* 1+ year previous management role experience within the fitness industry
* Strong leadership qualities
* Adaptability in communication and management style depending on the team member and their drivers
* A positive, solutions-driven mindset in the face of adversity
* A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills
* Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviors and competencies specific to the role
* Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
