We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Everlast Gyms team. As a key member of our Frasers Group, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness, demonstrating our elevated ways of working and driving all revenue lines to drive profitability.
- Effective management of controllable costs, eliminating wastage and overspend, and ensuring central processes are followed and delivered to the highest level consistently.
- Lead by example on reception and the gym floor, enhancing every visit and ensuring that all daily, weekly, and monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard.
- Recruit, monitor, train, and onboard new team members, providing honest and constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Manage club rotas based on budgets, ensuring fully trained team members are always onsite, and be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions.
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with a Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable).
- 1+ year previous management role experience within the fitness industry, with strong leadership qualities and adaptability in communication and management style.
- A positive, solutions-driven mindset, with a member champion mentality and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Driven and ambitious, with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
