Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing solution architecture and design that facilitates the digitization of processes and enhances customer experiences while aligning with our strategic objectives.

You will be an integral member of our leadership team within the Loans lab, a vibrant and agile team dedicated to revolutionizing the customer experience within the Retail Banking sector. Our culture promotes empowerment and collaboration, utilizing agile methodologies to foster innovation and drive technological advancements that respond to market needs efficiently.

Key Duties

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to establish a robust architectural framework for our Platform teams.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to refine solutions, assess technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation options.
  • Advocate for adaptive design practices to enhance collaboration across Loans and YCS feature teams, maintaining a unified vision with ongoing feedback.
  • Provide technical leadership within Feature teams.
  • Develop efficient and reusable back-end systems and abstractions.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies, gather requirements, and validate designs or prototypes that meet customer expectations aligned with our target architecture.
  • Utilize industry best practices, frameworks, and standards to create value for our customers.
  • Offer critical technical insights to support the financial investment process for key solution opportunities.
  • Assist Product Owners and Platform Leads in identifying and assessing software and infrastructure risks, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Spring, Spring IOC/DI.
  • Experience in developing Microservices.
  • Strong expertise in REST Services and Core Java.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with Liberty, Tomcat, or Jetty Containers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Event Driven Architectures and Streaming Platforms.
  • Exposure to Cloud Platform as a Service or similar solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Significant experience in defining architectural frameworks or solution roadmaps for inclusive systems at a digital scale.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with Enterprise, Security, Data, and Infrastructure architects to deliver customer value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Familiarity with Big Data and the Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Implementation experience in cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
