Position Overview

Falkirk Council is seeking a Reserve School Crossing Safety Officer to provide coverage during periods of absence at designated School Crossing Points within the Falkirk Council Area. This role is part-time and operates during school terms, from Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will need to have reliable transportation and be flexible to travel across the Falkirk Council Area. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe crossing of children and other pedestrians at specified times. It is crucial that the individual can attend the patrol point in all weather conditions and respond promptly to any unscheduled school closures.

As part of the employment process, the selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain membership in the PVG scheme.
