About the Role:

Southwark Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children and vulnerable individuals as they cross the road around schools during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with children, adults, and other road users to maintain a safe and orderly crossing environment.
  • Operate at designated crossing locations, adhering to strict guidelines set by Southwark Council and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, promoting correct and safe behavior when operating at the crossing.
