Main Responsibilities

As a Commercial Contracts Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of our contract management solution
  • Working closely with our Partners Procurement Service Director and internal stakeholders to implement an effective solution across multiple hospitals
  • Managing complex contracts and ensuring compliance with public sector contract legislation
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams and forging effective professional relationships
  • Developing and implementing internal processes and procedures to support contract management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial contract management, contract management best practice, and public sector contract legislation
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or other relevant professional qualification
  • Highly developed specialist knowledge of Contract Law and PCR Regulations
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Advanced Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience of working in a complex organisation and leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Significant experience in Contracts or Commercial Contract Management
