Job Summary
ONNEC Group, a leading independent technology partner and global integrator, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Contracts Manager to join our team. With over 30 years of experience and a team of 800+ global experts, we specialize in providing end-to-end connectivity solutions that propel organizations everywhere.
About the Role
The Commercial Contracts Manager will be responsible for the contract function within ONNEC Group, overseeing the review and guidance on construction contracts prior to signing and providing delay and prolongation advice as projects are completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Manage all contracts coming in and out of the business, resolving and supporting project teams with contract disputes.
- Acceleration: Support project teams with acceleration claims.
- Delay and Disruption: Support project teams with prevention and education on how to overcome delay and disruption issues, as well as supporting the business with delay and disruption claims as they arise.
- QS Negotiations: Support delivery teams with complex and difficult final account negotiations.
- Quantity Surveying: Support project teams with large commercial projects from time to time.
- Standard Documents: Assist the business in developing and implementing documents to mitigate risk to the business.
- Training: Complete training for the delivery team to educate.
Requirements
- Extensive experience within Quantity Surveying and/or Commercial Management.
- Excellent legal knowledge of construction contracts.
- Experience in dealing with Main Construction Contractors as clients.
- Experience in dealing with Sub-Contractors.
- Experience in Extension of Time Claims.
- Experience of cost build-ups and analysis.
- Experience in Prime Cost Targets & Cost Value Reconciliations.
