Female Senior Care Coordinator - Supported Living Services

Type: Full-Time (permanent variable hours contract minimum of 30 hours per week)

Rota: 3-week rolling rota of 3 shifts per week Mon - Sun

Salary: £30,651.80 per year plus excellent benefits

*Salary: based on a 3-week rolling rota; £12.80 per hour, £50 per sleep on average 38 hours per week and 2.33 sleeps per week

We Support Limited is a well-established provider of Supported Living services dedicated to fostering a creative, joyful, and secure environment for young individuals with learning disabilities across Cheshire and Trafford. Our focus is on supporting young adults with learning disabilities through a Positive Behaviour Support Approach.

We operate 15 home-from-home settings, each staffed by dedicated support teams. Our services provide 24-hour support, allowing staff to work consistently with the same individuals each week, thereby nurturing strong, trusting, and caring relationships.

**Please note: We are not a domiciliary care company. Employees typically work at one location and do not conduct 'house visits' traveling between services.**

Role Overview of Senior Care Coordinator: The successful candidate will lead the operational team of Support Workers to deliver person-centred care to young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health and social needs. They will ensure that staff have the necessary resources and support to maintain the required level and quality of service daily, while also focusing on the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the service. In addition to providing direct care and support, the Senior Care Coordinator will serve as a mentor and coach for the team on key operational tasks, with a strong emphasis on visibility and accessibility.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in a similar environment
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted Quality standards and relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Extensive experience working as a support worker with young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviours; minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Strong background in managing a staff team; experience in training staff within a care setting for at least 1 year
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to maintain reports, support programmes, activity plans, and petty cash records
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other professionals; collaborate with a team to ensure the well-being of individuals
  • Flexible approach to providing additional support to the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager; conducting quality assurance checks
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals
  • Experience in providing support and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities, including daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of individuals
  • Full clean UK driving licence and use of own vehicle with business use insurance (essential)

We provide care for individuals aged between 16-65 years in supported living accommodations, ensuring a safeguarded environment.
