About the Role

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Lawyer to join their Litigation legal team at Luton Borough Council. As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will provide expert advice and representation to the Council in all areas of employment law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive professional legal advice to the Borough Council and client departments
  • Manage a portfolio of cases, including acting as a legal advisor to client organisations, providing support and advice to HR departments, and preparing Employment Tribunal cases
  • Represent clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties, and undertake advocacy where required
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor, barrister or FCILEx with 6 years+ PQE
  • Previous advocacy experience and exceptional relationship building, networking, and influencing skills
