About the Role

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Childcare Lawyer to join their team in Luton, Bedfordshire. As a Senior Childcare Lawyer, you will provide expert legal advice and representation to the Council in all areas of childcare law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive professional legal advice to Children's Services, managing a portfolio of cases including s31 Care Proceedings, Emergency Protection Orders, and PLO proceedings.
  • Undertake advocacy in Luton and negotiate with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives.
  • Provide support and guidance to the wider team, helping them to develop their skills.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor, barrister or FCILEx with 6 years+ PQE.
  • Previous advocacy experience and exceptional relationship building, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Experience of managing and mentoring team members.
