About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at Anchor Hanover's luxurious new care home in Leeds. As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train a team of hospitality assistants to provide a first-class service to residents, their families, and visitors.
  • Provide a fantastic dining experience in a luxury environment, working as part of a dedicated and highly trained team.
  • Ensure the presentation of the restaurant is of the highest standard, including setting up tables with linens, silverware, and glassware, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Provide front-of-house service to the restaurant and café bar, meeting and greeting customers, and seating them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Present and advise on menu choices, ensuring that specials for the day are offered, and take food and beverage orders from customers.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring that they are enjoying their meals and do not have any further requirements.
  • Maintain the kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils in a clean and hygienic condition, and report any concerns to the line manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ideal level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.
  • A positive, professional approach and understanding of person-centered care with older people.
  • Experience of working in the service or care sector, providing face-to-face customer service is desirable.
  • Flexibility to do shift work, including working alternate weekends.
