Role Overview

As a Merchandising Administration Specialist, your primary responsibility is to assist the Merchandising team at boohoo group with various administrative tasks, ensuring that inventory is strategically positioned to optimize profitability. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments within the organization, effectively communicating sales performance and contributing to the analysis of departmental sales.

Team Dynamics

In the Merchandising department, we manage a vast array of styles, often exceeding 30,000 at any given time. Our team carries significant responsibilities and has established a strong reputation in the industry. We are driven by data, trends, and fashion, striving to maintain our position as a global market leader and being the first to introduce new products. Our approach is centered around the test and repeat model, emphasizing the importance of having the right inventory available at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering daily administrative support to the Merchandising team across all areas.
  • Assisting the Assistant Merchandiser in overseeing daily inventory intake and ensuring that purchase orders are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identifying potential issues with current orders and collaborating with the merchandising team to propose effective solutions.
  • Maintaining regular communication with suppliers and warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimize delays.
  • Managing the Merchandising Admin Assistant Excel trackers with daily updates and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with diverse individuals across the organization and with external suppliers.
  • Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks, delivering results within set timelines.
  • A collaborative team player, capable of building solid working relationships across all levels of the business.

Next Steps
