Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Merchandising Support Coordinator to become a vital part of our Merchandising division.

The Merchandising Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering administrative assistance to the merchandising team, facilitating the daily operations and strategic planning of the department. This position involves close collaboration with the Assistant Merchandiser to ensure precise inventory management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Under the supervision of the Assistant Merchandiser, distribute inventory across all sales channels, ensuring that Reorder Points (ROP) and product assortments are accurate.
  • Respond to stock inquiries from stores and other departments, providing timely support.
  • Input markdowns and pricing adjustments into the inventory management system.
  • Assist the Merchandising team in maintaining all financial and key forecasting tools.
  • Contribute to the creation of detailed weekly trading reports, end-of-season evaluations, and ad-hoc analyses, ensuring timely publication.
  • Perform general system administration and maintain data integrity.
  • Support the purchasing team with product and purchase order creation.
  • Track deliveries and stock receipts, updating the delivery schedule as necessary.
  • Collaborate with store and Operations teams to enhance product placement in stores, addressing store inquiries promptly.
  • Work alongside the logistics team to oversee the flow of inventory throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular store visits and implement follow-up actions as needed.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Buying and Merchandising team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Commercially aware with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
  • Organized and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Capable of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Previous experience in retail or administrative roles is advantageous.
