Program Manager, Operations Technology Supply Chain Solutions

Amazon's Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) organization is seeking a skilled Solutions Program Manager to oversee a complex suite of program portfolios and drive technology solutions that power the physical fulfillment operations supporting millions of customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of supply chain operations, analytics-driven insights, and customer obsession to ensure delivery of exceptional services. As a key member of the Operations Technology Supply Chain team, you will directly support planning and delivery execution of IT infrastructure and technology product needs for Amazon Operations sites globally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Solutions Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a program, delivering complex projects aligned with team goals, and ensuring a solid understanding of business problems, tools, workflows, and interdependencies. You will work independently, seeking guidance as needed, and make connections to ensure the right people are part of the conversation.

A Day in the Life

  1. Consult with stakeholders on new customer service requests, solution design, and implementation management of services, as well as change management of new services to desired state.
  2. Guide stakeholders through analysis, prototyping, parameter setting, testing, validation, solver tuning, documentation, training, and post-implementation support for new services.
  3. Identify customer needs and match requirements to our services possibilities to implement durable solutions and promote regional growth strategies.
  4. Manage multiple projects concurrently of varying sizes and priorities from solution analysis to go-live and handover to standard operating practices.
  5. Contribute and write effective narratives and present them effectively to senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience identifying and resolving complex issues.
  • Experience in program or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
  • PMP, or Bachelor's degree.
