Job Title: Senior Biodiversity Consultant

Climate17 | B Corp™ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biodiversity Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Biodiversity Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in addressing ESG risks and opportunities on international projects.

About the Role:

We are looking for a self-starter with a relevant background and experience in addressing ESG risks and opportunities on international projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of key global biodiversity frameworks, global goals, and key biodiversity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery and business development
  • Carry out or play a lead support role in site-based biodiversity surveys and assessments for international projects
  • Work with and apply major biodiversity safeguards and standards, such as IFC Performance Standard 6 and the Equator Principles

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years in a similar role working on international biodiversity projects
  • Undergraduate degree in environmental, biological, biophysical, or social sciences (post-graduate degree preferred but not essential)
  • Strong technical background and project delivery in ecological services, terrestrial and/or marine biodiversity, and/or ecosystem services
