About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biodiversity Manager to join our Environment and Health division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative biodiversity projects for global manufacturing, industrial, and extractives businesses, as well as UK infrastructure and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical expertise in Biodiversity Net Gain, using the Natural England Biodiversity Metric and other metrics.
  • Business development with global clients to support and deliver their Nature Positive ambitions.
  • Main point of contact with Ramboll project managers, clients, partner organisations, and sub-consultants.
  • Fee proposal preparation and assisting with client relationship management.
  • Line management of junior ecology and biodiversity consultants.
  • Provide input to resource planning.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in managing and delivering Biodiversity Net Gain projects across the UK, including biodiversity design and offsetting. You should be able to harness biodiversity conservation skills and knowledge to advise our Nature Positive clients. An understanding of the UK planning system in relation to development and the integration of ecology is also essential. Proficient user of MS Office software and a full clean UK driving licence are preferable.
