Role Overview

Time Out Market is rapidly expanding with multiple locations globally. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven IT Systems Specialist to enhance our technological framework. This position is crucial in assisting the Head of Technology to propel technological innovations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Project Assistance: Work closely with the Head of Technology to ensure successful project execution. Provide technical knowledge and support throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on various technology-related tasks such as networking, audiovisual systems, and software integration.
  • Managed Service Provider Coordination: Collaborate with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to guarantee exceptional support for our existing markets. Monitor the technical performance and health of market systems.
  • Technology Improvement: Encourage interdepartmental collaboration to discover avenues for technological advancements. Implement initiatives to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Documentation Management: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system setups, troubleshooting manuals, and knowledge repositories. Ensure alignment with broader organizational policies.
  • Technical Leadership: Offer technical guidance and leadership to internal stakeholders, including conducting training sessions and presentations. Assist management and executives in recognizing the necessity for technological changes.
  • Compliance Adherence: Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring that all technological operations comply with organizational standards.
  • New Initiatives: Actively engage in project team meetings to contribute to the design and execution of new technological solutions and market expansions.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a technical management position, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking principles.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams on a global scale.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of POS and CRM systems.
